Texas Canyon is marked by spectacular rock features, including 'balancing rocks', and trails crisscrossing through open fields of yucca, ocotillo, cacti of various sorts, and scattered trees that dot the terrain. This beautiful and historically significant canyon was significant to the Native American inhabitants and Cochise is said to have used this area for his winter camps.
The 10K course features a variety of trails, terrain, vegetation, and awe-inspiring views. Tohono O'odham dancers and singers will start and end the race to keep you moving and encouraged. Join us in this celebration of the region and Native American culture. Your entry fee includes admission to the museum with your bib number.
